Cheltenham Gold Cup Festival

Cheltenham's 2005-2006 season concluded as usual with Hunter Chase Evening which saw the stars of the amateur world take centre stage around the very same course that was used for the totesport CHeltenham Gold Cup, won by War Of Attrition, at The Festival.

2005-2006 was another memorable season for jump racing with Paul Nicholls being crowned Champion Trainer for the first time, AP McCoy retaining his title as Champion Jockey and the shock resignation of Martin Pipe on the final day of the season. Martin's contribution to jump racing has been enormous and we shall be paying tribute to, and honouring, his achievements in an appropriate and fitting way during next season.

Four days of the best steeplechase and hurdle racing on the planet bring the season to a climax as 450 horses compete for £2.8m in prize money.

The four major Championship races are backed up by another six Grade 1 contests and a whole host of Handicaps that set racegoers the challenge of picking a winner that can bring high return. Over £1m will be bet on-course on every race.

For the three hours before racing and the hour and half after, there is time to enjoy The Festival atmosphere amongst the trade stands, parades, music and entertainment. Each day closes with a party in the Centaur.

All the Bookmaking firms will be as eager as every to attract business and as such they will be providing some good incentives for first time customers. You will be able to keep in touch with all these special Cheltenham Festival Betting Offers on this site.

In addition, the bookmakers will be offering some unique Cheltenham festival betting odds on such things as the amount of Irish Winners at Cheltenham on each day and overall for the Cheltenham festival, the leading jockey and trainer are also very popular with punters.
